Karmak Names New Director of Software Development

Carlinville, Illinois (August 9, 2006) — Karmak recently named Bob Reiher as the Director of Software Development. In his new position, Reiher will oversee more than 25 employees in development of Karmak Legend®, ProfitMaster®, and Director Series software, as well as the Legend Quality Assurance, Internal Training, and Price File departments.

Reiher comes to Karmak from Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation in Alton, Ill., where he served as the Manager of Mid-Range Systems. In this capacity, Reiher oversaw 11 systems administrators for Smurfit-Stone’s medium and large scale computer systems, and focused on project management for infrastructure projects concerning these systems. His experience includes working for McDonnell Douglas on NASA’s International Space Station in Houston, as well as BJC Health Systems and Boeing in St. Louis. Reiher resides in Carlinville, Ill., and has a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois, and an M.S. degree in Space Science from the University of Houston–Clear Lake.
