Mike Kirk Named Vice President of Operations at Karmak

Carlinville, Illinois (April 12, 2006) — Karmak, Inc. today named Mike Kirk, an 18-year veteran of the company who has been Director of Customer Services for the past 9 years, as Vice President of Operations. Kirk’s new position will expand his duties to include operations of Karmak’s Carlinville, Ill. and the Springfield, Mo. offices.

Kirk is a graduate of Blackburn College with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences. Kirk began his career at Karmak in 1988 as an Installer and Trainer. Kirk then assumed the duties of a Systems/Parts/Service Support Representative, which led to his promotion to Manager of Parts and Service Support and Training. In 1997, Kirk’s responsibilities were expanded to include overseeing all operations of Customer Support, New Accounts and Training, Systems and Installations, Documentation, and Inside Sales and Marketing for the Carlinville, Ill. office as the Director of Customer Services. Kirk, who is also Assistant Chief of the Carlinville Fire Department, resides in Carlinville, Ill. with his wife, Teresa, and their three children, Kaleb, Katie, and RC.
