This is an ideal class for your accounts receivable clerk. Accounts Payable Length: 1 day; Audience: Accounts Payable Clerks The class provides in-depth coverage of the programs used for daily and monthly accounts payable procedures. This is an ideal class for your accounts payable clerk. Controller/Office Manager Training Length: 3 days; Audience: Controllers, Accounting Managers This class provides an overview of key accounting principles and controls in Karmak's Legend system. You will learn to reconcile inventory and labor to general ledger, use month end reports, and evaluate the accounting setup of your company, This knowledge base will allow you to change those settings on the system which will allow you to use the system more efficiently and more profitably. Financial Report Writer Length: 2 days; Audience: Controllers, anyone setting up and maintaining company financial reports This class covers the fundamentals for using the financial report writer programs: Financial Report Writer or Custom Report Writer. The participant should bring samples of the reports to be designed. Decisions regarding setting up the software and creating reports are based on these sample reports. The class can be offered as part of the Controller/Office ManagerTraining. This class assumes the participant understands how the accounting is set up on the Legend system and how transactions are posted. Inventory and Parts SalesLength: 3 days; Audience: Inventory Managers, Parts Managers, anyone responsible for pricing and purchasing This class provides an overview of key principles and controls for managing inventory on your system. Topics include:
Participants will learn to evaluate the setup of your company's inventory and to set the parameters that will make your Legend system more efficient. Parts Counter Training Length: 1 day; Audience: Parts Counter Sales Personnel This class provides hands-on instruction covering the fundamentals of Parts Order Entry/Processing (PO120), Part Number Display (IN601) and how to reprint and void counter invoices. Participants on multiple-branch systems will also cover inter-branch ordering. Service Department TrainingLength: 2 days; Audience: Service Managers This class provides an overview of the Service Department Management software including setup and maintenance, creating and maintaining employee files, and the fundamentals of creating and finalizing work orders. Learn how to review reports and use alternate accounting to process warranty work orders. System Management TrainingLength: 1/2 day; Audience: System Managers This class covers the daily and monthly procedures required to maintain your Legend system. Learn to create and maintain user accounts, directories and menus. This class is usually offered in conjunction with other classes. Lease and Rental SystemLength: 2 days; Audience: Anyone responsible for unit lease and rental The class provides in-depth coverage of the programs used for daily and monthly lease and rental operations. Learn how this application is integrated with Legend's other software modules.
